Volunteer Orientation Classes 2018

Historic Flat Rock, Inc. Cultural Center / Museum

This is the time of year when many people resolve to give more time in service to the community. Those who are interested in history, interacting with people and have a few hours to spare each month (from May – October) volunteering for a worthy organization, may want to investigate the volunteer opportunities at Historic Flat Rock, Inc.

The Cultural Center / Museum is open Thursday and Saturday from 11-3 starting May 03, 2018. The Volunteers’ role is to make initial contact with patrons, answer general questions about the Cultural Center / Museum, collect visitor information and promote membership.

The requirements for becoming a Volunteer include being a member of Historic Flat Rock, attending a training session and being available approximately four hours a month.

Orientation Classes are scheduled as follows:

• Saturday, April 28, 12 – 1:30
• Thursday, May 3, 11 – 12:30 and 1 – 2:30
